Dingle Lane is a Surestart Children’s Centre based at Matthew Arnold Primary School. They have asked DSL to let its members know that they will no longer be running a support group for just parents of children with Down Syndrome.
They have decided to broaden the group to become a group for children with additional needs, please see the following information .
The last session of the Down Syndrome Liverpool group will be Monday 6th August 12.30 till 2. If you have any questions about the new group don’t hesitate to contact Corinne at the centre she is really nice and very approachable.
The new group will be known as the Parent and Child Additional Needs Support Group for children aged 0-5 with an additional need. (Children awaiting diagnosis welcome).
This new group will meet on the first Wednesday of the month, starting in September between 1.30pm – 3.00pm.
The group is facilitated by Dingle Lane Surestart Children’s Centre’s Special Educational Needs and Disability Link Worker.
Benefits of attending the new group are:
• A chance to meet other parents.
• An opportunity to talk to range of different professionals who may be able to support you and your family.
• A fun afternoon out for your child to play in a safe and stimulating environment.
