Or monthly support group is aimed at new, expectant and existing parents/carers of young children with Down Syndrome, aged between 0-5 years old. An opportunity to share experiences and talk to others in a safe, supportive environment.
Details below for up to date information regarding this years dates, time and venue
The support group a prime opportunity to meet new families who share the same amazing journey, but it is also a great opportunity to exchange tips and advice, tell stories, and let the children interact through play.
The group is very relaxed, with no 'strict' start time so you can drop in whenever is convenient, but I would advise you to utilise the full allocated time as two hours goes so quickly when chatting away. Even if your loved ones are at school or nursery, you are still invited to pop along anyway for a catch up and a cuppa, with immediate family always welcome to accompany you, including siblings.
If you wish to attend the group, please could you contact Kelly beforehand by using the secretary email , so that membership can be checked, plus the number of attendees.
As a parent/carer, it is also worth requesting access to our Facebook page to keep up to date with any date changes that may occur in relation to group.
The meet. up occurs once per month, always on a Friday, unless during a half term, and from 10am until 12 to cater for the school run.
Venue: Family and Friends Play Centre, Prescot Gospel Hall, Evans Street, Prescot L34 6HU .
How often: Takes place once per month, always a Friday and runs from 10am until 12pm
