DSL - Parent & Child Support Group

An opportunity to share experiences and talk to others in a safe, supportive environment.

IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE

*** PLEASE NOTE: Our Monthly Support group as discussed below is unfortunately suspended for the remainder of 2020 due to Covid-19, however, this does not mean that support for new/expectant parents is unavailable. Please contact directly on the email provided so that we can offer you virtual support.***

Supporting young families

Our monthly support group is aimed at new, expectant and existing parents/carers of young children with Down Syndrome, aged between 0-5 years old.

Not only is the support group a prime opportunity to meet new families who share the same amazing journey, but it is also a great opportunity to exchange tips and advice, tell stories, and let the children interact through play.

The group is very relaxed, with no 'strict' start time so you can drop in whenever is convenient, but I would advise you to utilise the time as 2 hours goes so quickly when chatting away. Even if your loved ones are at school or nursery, you are still invited to pop along anyway for a catch up and a cuppa, with siblings, friends and family members always welcome.
